Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Albania’s Liberation



On the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of Albania’s Liberation, we had the privilege to design “Sounds that Brought Freedom”—a vinyl project that merges history, music, and design into a tangible cultural artifact.



This piece was conceived as more than just a musical release. From the very first concept to the final packaging, our goal was to create an object of heritage—something that not only uplifts Albanian culture today but will also stand the test of time as a collector’s item for future generations. The project celebrates Albania’s cinematic and cultural history through the power of music, featuring iconic film soundtracks performed by the National Opera & Ballet Orchestra.



Design played a crucial role in bridging past and present. The visual identity draws inspiration from archival aesthetics, reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility to ensure the artifact feels both timeless and relevant. The packaging, typography, and material choices were carefully considered to honor the gravity of the occasion, while still giving the vinyl a modern and accessible character.



“Sounds that Brought Freedom” is more than a product—it is a symbol of memory, freedom, and cultural pride. Crafted to be cherished, preserved, and passed on, it embodies the idea that design can serve history, and history can sing through music.
